Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation
2007.07.12
Novi Sad, Serbia
Exit Festival
Pro Shot DVD (Pal format)
Yes, this is PAL format. The US uses NTSC so this will not play in most American DVD players, but will play in computer drives. A friend also told me that this looked great on his HD TV using his XBox. I originally got this off a torrent site, unsure who uploaded it and what the lineage is, but trust me, this is just about the best concert video I have seen of Robert Plant in his post Zeppelin years. In my opinion it trumps almost anything during his Zeppelin years too. So to whomever originally uploaded this, thank you! Artwork for this one is available at the great Zeppelin Art site here . - RMac©
Here is the set list and it rocks full throttle right from the start:
01 - 7 and 7 Is
02 - Black Dog
03 - Tin Pan Valley
04 - Going to California
05 - Four Sticks
06 - Freedom Fries
07 - Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
08 - Gallows Pole
09 - The Enchanter
10 - Whole Lotta Love
I have uploaded an ISO file of the DVD, MD5 verification file is included. I recomend using ImgBurn to burn this and all DVD's, iso's, CD's whatever. It is available for free at http://www.imgburn.com/ Trust me, I used Nero faithfully for years till I got a new Dual Layer burner and started making a lot of coasters. I thought my drive was crap. Someone said to try imgburn and now, no more coasters.
I have also uploaded an m4v video file of the show for those of you who have an iTouch/iPhone. I play it on mine all the time and it looks and sounds great.

Led Zeppelin January 11, 1969 - Filmore West (Soundboard) flac
Led Zeppelin January 11, 1969 - Filmore West (Soundboard) flac
This is a great snapshot of the mighty Zeppelin. Young. Hungry. Raw. Strong. Led Zeppelin I is in my top two albums of all times, and to hear them do several of these songs live and in soundboard quality, is outstanding. This recording was released as "Shonen Zep (Akashic label)". I could not find the front cover art to this recording (I did include the back cover), so I picked my favorite off the great Zeppelinart website and used that.
I have made an m3u playlist, encoded tags and encoded the artwork in the tags using MP3tag. Enjoy, and please leave comments!-RMac®

Transfer: Tascam DA-30MKII>Sound Devices 702>Wavelab 5>CDWAV>FLAC
When I originally made a clone from the DAT master, an intentional 10 second cut was placed on my copy by the person who let me clone the DAT, I copied the cut portion at a later point when unattended, now seamlessly put back together for the 1st time. You have not ever heard this performance in it's entirety like this before!

Roger Waters & The Bleeding Heart Band - Quebec, Canada 5/22/87 Professionaly recorded by Westwood One FLAC

Roger Waters & The Bleeding Heart Band
Quebec, Canada 5/22/87
Professionaly recorded by Westwood One
I am doing two uploads of this recording. One is a Nero image file which will burn an exact copy of the silver CD with CD text added for CD text capable players, original artwork included. This CD will be found when using CDDB to get information on it!
Lineage: Silver CD>Copied by Nero 6.3.1.6 adding CD Text>CD-R>.nrg file (Nero Image file)>you
Second upload is flac files of this recording including original AND alternate artwork.
Lineage: Silver CD>EAC>wav>flac>you
As is my custom, I have created a playlist file and added the original artwork to the flac files using the great MP3TAG program. I have ripped this myself, includes front cover artwork. Enjoy!
Track List:
01 Radio Waves
02 Welcome To The Machine
03 Money
04 In The Flesh
05 Have A Cigar
06 Pigs
07 Wish You Were Here
08 Mother
09 The Final Cut
10 If
11 Powers That Be
12 Breathe
13 Brain Damage - Eclipse
14 Another Brick In The Wall
Track listing on the original artwork lists track 12 as Brain Damage, but when you CBDB the disc it comes up properly as Breathe. Track 13 shows as Eclipse but is Brain Damage/Eclipse. This is the famous Quebec show professionaly recorded by Westwood One. This has been highly bootlegged, but I haven't seen this particular release on any blogs or torrents (they may be out there, I just haven't seen them)l. The quality is astounding and Roger & The Bleeding Hearts were really on that night. The versions of the Pink Floyd songs have a bit of funk added to them by the guys and the result is great! I saw the Hartford show on that tour and it still ranks as one of the top five shows I have ever seen. I only wish the interplay between the DJ Jim Ladd, Billy, and everything else that went on during the show was here, but I think you can get a lot of that elswhere, though not at this level of quality. Enjoy the heck out of this and please leave a comment!

Nero Image Links: are dead. I will upload an image file of this disc if I am requested to do so.

Unsure of the complete lineage on this.
I encoded it to flac right from the wav files that I downloaded from somewhere.
The sound quality is awesome, well worth the listen. A great snapshot of the early Zeppelin and a young, raw Robert Plant.
I have made an m3u playlist, encoded tags and encoded the artwork in the tags using MP3tag. Enjoy, and please leave comments!

LED ZEPPELIN CABALA 8 CD BOXED SET

LED ZEPPELIN CABALA 8 CD BOXED SET
This is a very interesting Zeppelin set that has recordings from before the Zeppelin formed right thru till the last tour in 1980. The quality is outstanding and having all these recordings in one set makes this an excellent retrospective, well worth the time it will take to download it all. I have included all the artwork and all the info I have with the downloads. One note. When I downloaded this, none of the mp3’s had tags. I did tag all of them but the the artist listed on all the tags is simply Led Zeppelin even on the songs that are from solo works or from Yardbird songs or whatever. I just do not have the patience to go thru 8 cd’s worth of songs and tag all the artists correctly. Since this is a set dedicated to the history of Led Zeppelin, I just left it at that…

In the summer of 1997, E.C. hooked up with some world-class jazz

John Miles is quite an outstanding singer with a great vocal range. He is able to pull off covering songs originally done by both Robert Plant and Paul Rodgers, two legendary vocalists, as well as singing songs originaly crooned by the great Chris Farlowe.
To me, the highlight of this disc is Midnight Moonlight Lady. In the middle of MML, Jimmy breaks into White Summer, then Black Mountainside and back into MML. Wonderfully done.

In the begining...
I will be posting links to download high quality mp3's and flac files of music I have collected from my own web surfing and music I have ripped myself. The difference between the files I post and what you may find on other blogs or sites is that I will post more "complete" mp3's. What I mean by this is that all of the mp3's I post will have the ID3v2 tags completed, artwork (if availble) embedded and included along with the music files, a playlist so you can simply double click and load the whole disc in original order and files names named in the following format "01 - Kashmir". Included in the downloads will also be whatever info I have on that recording. I will be mostly uploading the files in rar format as it is very versatile and easy to work with.
Winrar can be downloaded for free here: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
As of right now, I will be uploading to the RapidShare file sharing service. I already paid for a premium account, so that is what I will use for now. If any dead links are found, please let me know and I will repost. I will update when I have time. Maybe weekly, maybe daily. Comments and contributions welcome!
