OK. This is a band and a tour that is near and dear to my heart. This was the first tour with Sammy in about a decade, but Eddie was kind of messed up at the time. Some of the songs on this recording are awesome, and some the band sounds like crap. Sammy sounds great thru the whole thing. Some of the backup vocals are just flat out bad and Eddie screwed up some here and there. Even in the shape Eddie was in, this recording is of such good quality it is well worth having. A messed up Eddie Van Halen is still better than 90% of everyone else out there. Up For Breakfast, Eagles Fly and Seventh Seal are among my faves on here. Grab it and judge for yourself.
