Pink Floyd
Recorded Live at Wembley Empire Pool, London, England
November 16th, 1974
Source: Possibly direct transfer from BBC Master?
This release is simply titled "Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - Live At The BBC 1974"
(BBCP-60015)
Lineage: Silver CD's > EAC > Wav > Flac
The OBI and artwork for this release has the EMI logo, though this is obviously not an official release.
I'm putting this one out there for the completists, the Pink Floyd freaks and the art freaks.
I don't believe this source is any different from the ones already out there (see above), but the sound on this is awesome. I love listening to this. I'd like to hear feedback as to if it is identical to the Harvested release.
This download includes 300dpi scans of the excellent artwork included with this set, which is the main reason I bought it. The visual presentation is stunning. Great packaging. This claims to be a Japanese release and is packaged as such, but it is more likely a Russian bootleg as the source I got it from was in Russia. The foldout was scanned in peices due to it's size. The only thing I did not scan was the reverse side of the foldout which is all in Japanese. I ran out of steam at that point, sorry. Also included is a cue sheet files that actually works, and a playlist files as well as an md5 file. If you post this on another site, please include these notes un altered and give credit to TTD. Also, please don't convert to crappy lossy files like mp3 except for your personal use.
Enjoy! Ralphster5150 aka RMac©.

Deletefile offline: please reup. thanks
ReplyDeleteThe overall sound quality is great, apart from 2 areas - occasional crackle during the first track heartbeat sequence, then the slo-mo wow during the clock chimes intro. My CD came from a famous bidding website from a seller in Estonia - so on a balance of probabilities it's not an official JPN disc.
ReplyDeletethis is def a boot made to look official. Great art. I got my copy on eBay. They released this officially last year or the year before, i forget, but the official release is quite different. Like having both myself.
