Led Zeppelin January 11, 1969 - Filmore West (Soundboard) flac

Led Zeppelin January 11, 1969 - Filmore West (Soundboard) flac

This is a great snapshot of the mighty Zeppelin. Young. Hungry. Raw. Strong. Led Zeppelin I is in my top two albums of all times, and to hear them do several of these songs live and in soundboard quality, is outstanding. This recording was released as "Shonen Zep (Akashic label)". I could not find the front cover art to this recording (I did include the back cover), so I picked my favorite off the great Zeppelinart website and used that.

I have made an m3u playlist, encoded tags and encoded the artwork in the tags using MP3tag. Enjoy, and please leave comments!-RMac®

Cream - Madison Square Garden, New York, NY, Oct. 24, 25, & 26, 2005 (flac)

Cream - Madison Square Garden, NY, NY Oct. 24, 25, & 26, 2005
These are high quality audience recordings from the historic Cream reunion of 2005.
.
.
The Cream are:
-
Jack Bruce: Bass, Vocals
Ginger Baker: Drums, Vocals
Eric Clapton: Guitar, Vocals.
.
.
I was there myself for the second night with floor seats. Though I had a lot of good Belgian Beer in me at the time (http://www.bxlcafe.com/) I distinctly remember what a great show it was. I was amused by the bickering between Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce (I guess Jack had his PA way too loud for Gingers liking and when he realized it, turned it even louder just to piss off Ginger... Really boys, 7 nights in one year and ya can't play nice?). I remember listening to the Albert Hall reunion shows and wondering why Slowhand didn't use the Wah-wah pedal on Sunshine Of Your Love? One of the most famous solos in history and you play it live with the original band and don't use it? Why? Well, he used it in NY, and brought a huge smile to my face. Hopefully listening to this will bring a huge smile to yours as well.
.
Included is the original poster for this historic three-night gig and two front covers I threw together. The flac files have artwork embedded and are all tagged and playlists have been created as well. Enjoy!

Please leave comments! I'd like to hear from some of you!

Sheryl Crow 8-16-1997 Sonic Studios, Philadelphia, PA "Sonic Sessions" flac

Sheryl Crow - "Sonic Sessions"

Sonic Studios
Philadelphia, PA
August 16, 1997

This is a really good recording of Sheryl Crow. I'm a big fan of this stage of her career and these songs are great live. I have changed the file names to reflect the song names, and have designed my album covers since the only one I found out there was pretty crappy. I have tagged the files with artwork and made em all pretty. The comments below are from the person who released this recording, not me. Enjoy!

-RMac©

NOT FM or PRE-FM sourced, this is from my DAT clone directly off the master.
MASTER 2 track SBD DAT>Panasonic SV-3800>Tascam DA-30MKII
Transfer: Tascam DA-30MKII>Sound Devices 702>Wavelab 5>CDWAV>FLAC

Track list:

01 - Soundcheck/Studio Audience Instructions
02 - Change
03 - Strong Enough
04 - Redemption Day
05 - Miss Creation
06 - Home
07 - tuning
08 - Run Baby Run

When I originally made a clone from the DAT master, an intentional 10 second cut was placed on my copy by the person who let me clone the DAT, I copied the cut portion at a later point when unattended, now seamlessly put back together for the 1st time. You have not ever heard this performance in it's entirety like this before!

Rapidshare links: DAMN! Links are dead on this one too. I will re-up when I can. 5/5/2009
